Dr. Hoch is originally from Moscow, Idaho. He first had the realization that he wanted to be a veterinarian when he began working for a small animal vet. in Boise, Idaho when he was 16 years old. Years later, he then went on to receive his degree in veterinary medicine from Washington State University in 1986.Dr. Hoch has gained experience from working for a mixed animal practice in Mountain Home, Idaho for 3 years after graduation from bet school. He has worked at Lewiston Veterinary Clinic since then for the last 20 years.

Aside from work, Dr. Hoch enjoys gardening, fishing, and building a log home. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Carole. They have 3 dogs, a Shih tzu named Poppy, a dachshund named Olive and a Bichon Frise named Buttons.
